MercyOne Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its Rural Health Clinic in Mount Ayr, IA, a community known for its close-knit atmosphere and peaceful rural setting. The town offers excellent schools, access to outdoor activities like parks and lakes, and is just 1-2 hours from Des Moines, Kansas City, and Omaha, providing the perfect blend of rural charm and access to metropolitan amenities. Physicians will have the opportunity to practice a wide variety of medicine while building strong relationships with patients in a supportive community. With a slower pace of life and growing healthcare demand, Mount Ayr is an ideal location for both personal and professional fulfillment.

Opportunity Highlights 

• Join a team of 1 Physician and 4 APP’s
• Volume: 15-18 patients/day
• Schedule: 4-day work week; M-F (4x10 hour shifts)
• Outpatient clinic and nursing home rounding - call
• Onsite lab, X-ray, and pharmacy

• Annual Base Salary guarantee of $290,000 + production incentives
• $300,000 Bonus Package
• PSLF eligible
• 403 B match
