IT Transformation Director - Engagement Manager - Aero Data Programs

As part of our exciting growth agenda, we are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager with a consulting and delivery background to join our highly talented team, working on the pursuit and delivery of major consulting-led transformational engagements, providing subject matter insight, expertise, and leadership, whilst developing our people and capability.

Your role

• Leading and managing teams to achieve high quality delivery.
• Contributing to our propositions, in conjunction with our global network, to enable our success in the market.
• Contribute to growing our Aero & Defense business and our team.
• As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
• Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
• Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
• Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your skills and experience

• Successfully won and delivered data and AI transformational programs that encompass the life cycle of Aero and Defense Customer and executed the projects/programs
• Knowledge and experience Aero and Defense processes within North America and delivered data & AI programs 
• Strong commercial acumen in creating the case for change, the associated programs budget and costing, and having delivered valuable outcomes for clients.
• Significant experience gained within consulting in the utilities sector
• Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organization, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Experience of proposition building and delivery. 
• Business development – utilizing a combination of the organization’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network
• You will be an expert in and help run energetic workshops with clients to identify pain-points, desires, as-is situation, solution path, solution design, etc.
• You will define and own solution approaches, and technical designs and advise on solution development, testing and roll-out.
• You will lead teams of technical experts and engineers that help build technical solutions – guiding them in build components of technical solutions on your own 
• You will find and cultivate opportunities for improvement and grow the business within your space
• You will help promote program/ solution/ team success internally and at the client
• You will contribute and drive some of the AI / Analytics deals to grow our team
• You will be an engagement manager for all the programs that we run on ground
• MUST be US Citizen
