We have a tremendous opportunity to lead in the era of AI with Copilot. One of the key opportunities is to provide our customers with the right messaging and tools to drive successful understanding, preference and adoption of Copilot. This role is essential for incorporating product strategy into a narrative to help leaders understand how Copilot can impact their business.  

 

The Microsoft 365 Copilot Product Marketing team is seeking a Director, Product Marketing Manager who loves to collaborate and influence across disciplines and product portfolios, digest a variety of inputs to a cohesive narrative across how agents and extensions empower Microsoft 365 Copilot, and synthesizecomplex technical ideas into a clear understanding for the Business Decision Maker (BDM) audience. This role represents a highly visible opportunity to influence and contribute to the Copilotbusiness at all levels.

 

We are looking for a marketer who enjoys being at the forefront of showcasing the latest innovation involving Copilot + agents, delivering high-impact narrativeson how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be utilized by all, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to inform and energize our customers, partners and sellers. This role will be leading the end-to-end initiative to achieve Copilot Chat Monthly Active User (MAU) goal. Through managing multiple workstreams, influencing stakeholders across the organization and functions, and strategizing on how success will be measured, this role will influence the positioning and messaging of Copilot Chat, Go-to-Market strategy for our licensing models and providing clarity and synergy on our agents narrative.

Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Contributes to or influences the long-term vision and strategy for a broad set of products and/or solutions based on an understanding of customer needs, market and user research, competitive landscape, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy. Distills the vision and strategy of the product and/or solution into a product roadmap. Knows the roadmap's impact and defines the metrics that capture the market and customer engagement opportunity. Prioritizes investments and resources to execute the vision. Proactively influence Business Planning, Branding, and SWE partners in delivering the right product experience in alignment with defined direction. Holds teams accountable and gives clarity on the impact of product decisions or changes.

Sales Enablement

  • Delivers sales enablement and field support. Supports strategic business deals, creates strategic partnerships, and participates in pre-sales meetings with customers. Provides coaching, readiness, and in-depth win/loss insights to enable field sellers to win the deal. Develops content that best resonates with customer value. Understands what the customer cares about to create new sales opportunities. Identifies new skills or sales structure for a business.

Product Marketing and Business Performance

  • Builds and executes marketing plans and strategies to achieve product revenue goals. Manages across the cross-functional matrix as the Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for
