IT&T Field Engineer, Corfu Airport

If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the <strong>“IT&amp;T Field Engineer.”</strong> </p><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, monitoring and maintaining the Airport’s IT&amp;T systems and networks, identifying and resolving hardware or software issues on-site and remotely, as well as performing cabling works and patching, ongoing routine checks on machinery and maintaining/updating the equipment inventory.</p><p></p><p>The role is located in our premises at Corfu (CFU) Airport. </p><p></p><p><strong>What will you be doing?</strong></p><ul> <li>Install and configure hardware, operating systems and applications on-site.</li> <li>Maintain and monitor the Airport’s IT&amp;T systems and networks.</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and/or software issues.</li> <li>Supervise external providers on-site at the Airport’s IT&amp;T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs).</li> <li>Receive, safe keep, and record IT&amp;T hardware assets on local inventory.</li> <li>Identify end users’ needs proactively during the daily walk-throughs in the Airport.</li> <li>Actively participates in ad hoc projects according to departmental and company’s goals.</li> <li>Stay updated with the latest technological trends regarding the Airport’s equipment installation base</li> <li>Available to work in shifts.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Degree in Information Technology/Computer Systems/Electronics Engineering or similar.</li> <li>Minimum three years of previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably in Aviation.</li> <li>Extensive telecommunications cabling infrastructure knowledge, especially copper Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a and 7.</li> <li>Network and/or system certifications are considered assets.</li> <li>Very good knowledge of Greek and English on both an oral and written level</li> <li>Excellent knowledge and experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and networks.</li> <li>Available to work in shifts.</li> <li>Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.</li> </ul> <p></p><p><strong>Critical Functional Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. </li> <li>Excellent team spirit with customer service orientation.</li> <li>A learning-oriented mindset that keeps up with the latest trends.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>The Company offers a competitive remuneration package, career development opportunities in a dynamically growing business environment, and participation in the company's reward and employee benefits programs.</p><p><strong>All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.</strong></p>
