Senior Writer
MMITAbout the role
#LI-Remote
Why MMIT? At MMIT, we simplify the complexities of healthcare to smooth access to life saving therapies. Our collective teams achieve this through prioritizing cultivating industry leading data coupled with cutting edge technology to solve some of healthcare’s most complex challenges.
MMIT is regarded as a trusted go-to-market partner that identifies barriers to patient access and helps coordinate major stakeholders to move therapies from pipeline to prescription—answering the “what” of how payers cover therapies and the “why” behind those decisions. MMIT’s product portfolio has been built by listening to our clients, and with expert teams of pharmacists, clinicians, data specialists and market researchers who provide foresight, clarity and confidence.
In 2022, MMIT joined forces with other market-leading pharmaceutical-solutions providers—Evaluate, Citeline, Panalgo and The Dedham Group—to launch Norstella, which aims to deliver must-have answers for critical strategic and commercial decision-making along the entire drug development journey.
The Senior Writer, reporting to the VP of Marketing, is a key role within the commercial organization. This role is responsible for helping elevate the MMIT and Panalgo brands and drive market credibility by producing compelling thought leadership and marketing content.
The Senior Writer will work closely with the marketing team to advise on and execute against a multipronged content strategy for MMIT and Panalgo. The ideal candidate will have a journalist’s ability to tell a compelling story and a marketer’s ability to develop content that aligns with each brand’s broader marketing and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Writing copy across formats and channels, including long-form content—blog posts, articles, case studies—and short-form content (social media messaging, web and email copy, etc.)
- Strategizing and developing both thought leadership and promotional content to suit our team’s marketing objectives and position MMIT as an expert and strategic partner within the life sciences industry
- Interviewing and collaborating with MMIT’s leadership-level subject matter experts to refine potential topic ideas and translate their expertise into compelling, point-of-view-driven thought leadership articles
- Working cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, solution consulting, product management, advisory and market research teams to inform content development and devise effective promotional plans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A degree in journalism, English, communications or marketing (or relevant experience)
- Seven-plus years of experience as a business-oriented content writer, with experience writing both long- and short-form content, and the ability to translate complex topics into a clear, compelling story
- Knowledge of the business landscape of healthcare and pharmaceuticals
- A commitment to producing pristine, accurate, high-quality content that will resonate with and engage clients and potential clients
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships in a remote working environment
- The ability to work efficiently and prioritize projects on an evolving basis
Location
- Remote, but with quarterly travel to MMIT’s headquarters in Yardley, Pa., as needed
