A distributed approach allows us to engage with almost 4 million subscribers across a collection of newsletters.  On the digital web, we serve more than 30 million web sessions each month and growing. About Performance Revenue The Performance Revenue Team delivers daily value to Optimism’s millions of subscribers through reader-service consumer product and deal curation and content recommendation. The team oversees editorial commerce content along with multiple new revenue initiatives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Daily and regular output of product curation of deal recommendation articles, newsletters, and placements
• Onboarding, editing, and management of freelancers and their content
• Work in harmony alongside the Editorial team to optimize their articles and newsletters before, during, and after publishing
• Partner with the Performance Team Account Manager to surface and implement data-informed content optimizations on a daily basis
• Be an ambassador for performance revenue in the larger organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for reader-service product curation across a range of categories including technology, home, health, finance, cooking, and travel
• Constant curiosity to discover new and compelling products and services
• Ability to turn around authentic high-quality content on demand
• Improvement-focused editing process
• Independent growth-driven self-starter comfortable in a remote work environment
• At least X years at a content publisher or equivalent writing and editing product curation/commerce content
• Experience/expertise in the areas of search, social media, audience development, affiliate management, newsletters, photography/image editing are valued but not required
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills
