The Manager Post Market Quality, Field Action Operations is based in North America and reports to the Senior Manager, Post Market Quality, North America. The job holder is accountable for the execution of Post Market Quality Operations organization, including, field action execution, reconciliation, and creation of monthly status reports across all business segments in North America. The position is accountable for the development and execution of strategies and plans to meet key operational goals regarding field action processes for the North America region across all BDX businesses.
The job holder collaborates in the execution of Post Market Quality Operations organization, including, the creation of field action documentation (customer letter, 806 report, etc.), field action execution, reconciliation, and creation of monthly status reports across the Medical, Interventional and Life Sciences segments. The LEAD, Post Market Quality, Field Action Operations is accountable for supporting the development of the organizational strategy and determining the tactics required to achieve defined business objectives.
The Manager, Post Market Quality, Field Action Operations leads a team consisting of individual contributors in the field action execution processes.
The job holder ensures the timely execution of all processes under their accountability and monitoring performance against metrics to ensure compliance all relevant global regulations and to ensure customer expectations are met. This should be achieved through outstanding communication, effective problem solving and active management of ambiguous situations. The job holder must be well knowledgeable in FDA expectations, regulatory standards, and best practices in all areas for which they are accountable.
The job holder will be part of the North America Post Market Quality organization. In this capacity, the job holder will contribute to the overall growth and success of the PMQ NA organization and participate or lead initiatives as opportunity arises. As such the job holder needs to be able to operate across teams and align with BD’s Values and Strong Teams Operating Model to support delivering the goals of the function efficiently and effectively.
They will provide strategic guidance necessary to gain and maintain standards of excellence for Post Market Quality Field Action Operations and will collaborate with the other key functions to determine and promulgate the BD “line to take” with respect to new and emerging trends and regulations within their area of responsibility.
This role will interact with all levels within the organization as well as some customer facing. The associate must work independently with minimal supervision.
