Position Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager (GM) in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the shop, acting as a leader on the floor and fostering the Salt & Straw culture. The AGM is responsible for supporting the team’s performance and development, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to financial and operational success. They act as an extension of the GM by supervising Team Members, managing daily operations, and stepping into any role when needed to maintain high standards.

Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following qualifications:

High school diploma/GED.

2+ years of experience in food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality-focused industry.

18+ months of progressive experience as a leader, manager or supervisor. · Experience in leading a team of 10+ Team Members in a high-volume retail/restaurant establishment.

Valid food handlers' card (required within 30 days of the start of employment or based on state or local requirement).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent collaboration and communication skills and the ability to bring Legendary Hospitality into all interactions with team, guest, and vendor relationships.

Desire to coach, mentor, motivate and manage Team Members with demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Ability to work with people of all backgrounds and identities.

Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and leading a team with integrity.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals at various levels of the organization.

Self-directed with organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize, work effectively and positively under pressure and amidst changing priorities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Fluency in English.

Ability to work evenings and late nights, weekends, and holidays.
