About The Team

The Crunchyroll Accounting Team is a global organization of nearly 50 professionals working together to support all of our critical business functions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policy and regulatory bodies. As part of the accounting leadership team, this individual is joining during a period of significant transformation and will have an opportunity to help build out an outstanding team and processes to help the company achieve our ambitious goals for global growth in both the near and long term!

A day in the life of our Contract Sr Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Perform routine clerical duties in the accounts payable function which includes but is not limited to:
• Input invoices into accounting system after verifying proper authorization
• Processing invoices in a timely manner in accordance with vendor payment terms
• Review aging of vendor invoices monthly and resolving past due invoices
• Timely reconciliation of assigned vendor statements
• Maintains vendor master file, manage vendor profiles, and set up new suppliers in the accounting system; and ensures completeness and accuracy of the vendor information in the ERP system
• Resolve any issues that might arise by following up with purchasing department or vendor on any missing documentation or PO to Invoice variances
• Assist in the weekly cash disbursement process by reviewing weekly payment batch with AP manager and ensuring that suppliers are paid in accordance with company policy
• Ensures that proper documentation and support is provided for all accounts payable, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Meet AP deadlines while ensuring the Month End Accrual list is complete.
• Provide guidance to teammates and those outside of AP.

About You:

• 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience working in ERP systems, automated AP workflow platform
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn business computer applications
• Intermediate knowledge (minimum) of Excel and other Office Suite products
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Proven ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Strong team player, capable of working cross functionally with teams, fostering a positive work environment
• Takes full ownership of assignments and responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively with other functions to support their business needs
