Senior Audit Manager - AI Technical Enablement

The AI Assurance Tooling & Execution team are responsible for shaping how Internal Audit leverages AI/GenAI to enhance assurance delivery by developing, prototyping, and integrating AI/GenAI tools into execution. The primary focus involves working with assurance delivery teams to identify, implement, and drive the adoption of specific AI-enabled assurance tests, thereby strengthening and driving efficiency in audit delivery. Scalable implementations will necessitate extensive collaboration with the Strategy, Innovation and Professional Practices (SIPP) team.

The Senior Vice President is within the AI Technical Enablement team and is a senior level management position, reporting to the Audit Director – AI Technical Enablement, an overall objective to accelerate the adoption and effective use of AI/GenAI within Internal Audit's assurance activities, focusing on embedding these technologies into execution, identifying strategic use cases, and building AI expertise across the wider IA function.

This role will primarily focus on supporting  the execution of the end-to-end design, implementation, and scalable adoption of high-impact AI/GenAI solutions for IA assurance activities, including developing proof-of-concepts and prototyping from ideation to industrialization. By harnessing AI to strengthen our assurance capabilities, cultivating increased adoption, implementing rigorous feedback loops and continuously evolving our capabilities, this role will help position Citi IA as the leading IA function in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the execution and operationalization of IA’s GenAI tooling strategy, including tool evaluation and platform selection for IA Assurance.
• Execute the technical design, development, and implementation of specific AI/GenAI solutions for AI-enabled assurance tests, including prototyping and piloting of GenAI audit accelerators.
• Manage the development, validation, and industrialization of high-impact GenAI use case proof-of-concepts, guiding them from ideation through successful production deployment.
• Identify technical requirements and performing ROI and technical feasibility assessment for identified use-cases.
• Collaborate with Citi’s technical and engineering team for build and development of identified use-cases and AI/GenAI systems.
• Collaborate closely with the AI Business Enablement team and key stakeholders within IA's Digital Solutions & Innovation team to ensure technical alignment and successful integration of AI solutions, reporting progress and challenges to the Audit Director.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of AI/GenAI solutions by implementing and tracking adoption metrics, analyzing user feedback, and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Address and resolve technical impediments to the onboarding and scalable adoption of AI/GenAI solutions, focusing on maximizing time-to-value.
• Serve as a primary technical expert, providing hands-on guidance on AI/ML concepts, MLOps practices, and cloud-based AI/ML platforms to ensure robust and secure solution delivery.
• Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate emerging issues.
