Join TxDOT as a Construction Inspector and take an active role in building and improving the transportation network that keeps coastal South Texas moving. In this hands-on field position, you will help oversee roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects across San Patricio, Aransas, and Refugio counties, ensuring that each project is constructed in accordance with state standards, safety requirements, and approved plans and specifications.
Annual Salary Ranges:
Construction Inspector I (B18) - $45,521 - $71,055
Construction Inspector II (B19) - $48,244 - $76,028
Construction Inspector III (B20) - $51,158 - $81,351
The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level position and location based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors and based on business needs.
