Job Description SummarySelf-motivated, energetic individual who must possess the necessary skill sets required to assist with the maintenance and repairs of a building in order to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Mechanic.

Area of Responsibility
Building Support
Key Elements and Essential Tasks
Assist with general interior building maintenance for the facility.
Perform daily facility inspections and report on existing conditions.
Monitor client security systems and space by performing tasks to ensure that hazards are not created. Escalate to the Maintenance Mechanic as necessary.
Identify lighting or equipment issues and perform minor repairs i.e., changing lightbulbs and water filters.
Support client moves by moving office furniture, equipment and other materials and delivering supplies as requested.
Participate in response to emergency situations.

Follow proper safety procedures when storing or using equipment or hazardous materials.
Assist with the Operational Compliance Program (OCP), complete technical and safety training as required.
Contribute to the account KPI’s and SLA’s.

Update work order status in ticketing system.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
MINIMUM REQUIRED

Education/training
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and knowledge
Knowledge and ability to comply with safety standards and procedures.
The ability to listen, understand and execute on assigned tasks.
Physical work requirements and work conditions
The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously for extended periods of time.
The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects that may be 25+ pounds.
The ability to see and hear details in order to identify and diagnose problems.
