Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Part-time CRNA to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. There are ample leadership opportunities in our growing practice, and although we don't handle heart surgeries or transplants, we do encounter occasional pediatric cases involving children over 2 years old. Furthermore, our colleagues boast fellowships in OB anesthesia, Peds anesthesia, Pain Management, Critical Care, and Cardiothoracic anesthesia. We typically handle around 300-360 OR cases per month, with fewer than 100 deliveries per month and a labor epidural rate of approximately 80%. Additionally, our off-site areas include MRI, IR, and an endoscopy/bronchoscopy suite, with the endo suite located in the same area as the main ORs. We currently have 6 main ORs and no office anesthesia or freestanding outpatient facility. Our department benefits from three dedicated Biomedical equipment techs, and although some cases are solo without a CRNA or resident, the CRNA ratio is 1:2, and all CRNAs work under supervision. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Opportunity Details: 

• Weekdays.
• 8-hr, 10-hr, 12-hr shifts available.
• Nights and weekends available but not required.
• Active Level 2 Trauma Center. 
• Comfortable with all fields of Anesthesia including:
  • Pediatric
  • Trauma
  • No Cardiac
  • Minimal OB

• ​​Current NYS RN License and Registration, BSN, and MSN
• Board Certification by the NBCRNA required within the first year of hire

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,250* to $136,500* (based on years of experience) based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,375** and $150,150** (based on years of experience), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $98,800***.

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
