Production Control Planner

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Production Control Planner to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate will need to have a background in Production Control, Job Planning, and a working knowledge of ERP systems. This is a full time position that includes Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401K.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple projects.
• Resolve problems related to production jobs such as configuration changes, engineering changes, material issues, schedule priority, etc.
• Monitor production status of jobs to ensure they meet schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with schedulers to correctly prioritize work in process and firm planned work.
• Complete a daily Gemba walk and complete a job staging checklist.
• Coordinate Production Control Tasks.
• Report job status to management.
• Report job status using spreadsheets, custom reports, etc.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate with Materials Requisitioning.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Inventory Control.
• Expedite jobs as required.
• Conduct status meetings weekly.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Events as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with less than 2 or more years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles (AS9100).
• Working knowledge of MRP (Deltek CostPoint MRP is a +).
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work overtime as required in a fast paced production environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to be creative.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deltek CostPoint Experience.
• Microsoft Project and Excel Experience (Intermediate Level).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00
