Senior Manager of Craft Training and Development

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As the Senior Manager of Craft Training and Development in North Kansas City, MO you will develop and execute the craft training and development strategy. You will work with leadership, managers, and supervisors to ensure craft employees have access to the resources, training, and development opportunities needed to grow and be successful in their current and future job roles.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop and execute craft training and development strategy
• Partner with leaders and managers to understand developmental gaps and needs and identify intervention plan
• Lead the creation, review, rollout, and upkeep of craft training and development system structure and curriculum design
• Work with others to develop training and development content
• Facilitate craft training and development classes, workshops, courses, and programs
• Stay up to date on trends and technology, and incorporate into current and future plans
• Develop, review, and analyze reports; identify key metrics and trends and share with stakeholders

• Experience in training and development (7+ years)
• Experience in leading teams (7+ years)
• Experience working in construction industry (5+ years)
• Bachelor’s degree or construction experience
• Proactive

• Strategic thinking
• Willing to travel
