Job Summary
The Supervisor has responsibility for leading a team and helping create a roadmap to ensure the organization meets its goals. The Supervisor helps ensure technology processes are consistent, enabled, measured, and improved to drive quality in Technology Services. The Supervisor is also responsible for hiring, training, and leading a small team of employees and contractors, as needed, that understand and demonstrate the culture and values of Technology Services.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
•Manage the process of designing, developing, deploying and maintaining tools and processes to support operations for Technology.•Lead team to document and educate users about relevant processes.•Ensure alignment between processes and toolsets, modifying systems where needed to deliver desired results.•Measure and improve process and tool maturity and compliance. •Oversee execution of operational activities and measure process quality and compliance (incident handling, process execution, etc.) •Help to establish a roadmap to maintain currency, incorporate new features, and delivery TS objectives through technology solutions.Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•Experience gained through college degree programs or certifications in Information Systems, Business, or Computer Science•8+ years of working in an IT environment•0-3 years of management experience •Excellent interpersonal, communication and teaming skills.•Ability to navigate technology environment and work effectively with multiple teams.•Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy and dependable •Ability to learn quickly, be self motivated to improve knowledge and tackle new challenges. •Ability to prioritize requests to deliver highest-impacting items first.Key Metrics
•Team member engagement across technology department•Tools adoption and usage, where appropriate•Identified improvement opportunities that result in reduced operating or capital expense.•Identified automation opportunities that result in increased operational efficiency and decreased operational cost.Additional Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and ensure compliance with the Nuclear Cyber Security Program.
- Focus on cyber security for industrial control systems in Nuclear Power Generation.
- Coordinate and align processes and toolsets with cyber security organizations at the Vistra nuclear sites.
Acceptable Alternate Experience
- 8+ years experience in Engineering or OT environment
