Job Summary:
The successful Legal Operations Coordinator candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the legal team by managing administrative tasks, scheduling, communication, and special projects. Candidate to be based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly handle time sensitive requests from all legal team members to maintain workflow
- Assist on day-to-day matters and special projects, and track follow-ups as needed
- Act as a point of contact between the legal team and internal/external stakeholders
- Support cross-functional collaboration and information flow within the department
- Maintain and update project tracking tools or dashboards
- Support cross-functional collaboration and information flow within the department
- Assist with planning and execution of team meetings, team events, workshops and team socials
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding and team member administrative changes
- Act as the point of contact and processor for all legal billing, invoicing, subscriptions and associated questions
- Order supplies, manage logistics, and support office resource needs
- Liaise with facilities and IT to resolve issues affecting the team
Qualifications:
- Comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders with varying needs
- Flexible and calm under pressure, with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Excellent, proven interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willing to adopt use of AI and emerging technologies
- Must be a team player who can easily handle shifting priorities
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all communications
- Successful candidate will have attention to detail, be a self-starter, and thrive in a professional and fast paced environment.
