JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Wholesale Operations HR team, supporting our Joliet, IL and Lincoln, IL facilities. Our HR Generalist will assist the site HR Business Partner in managing HR programs and supporting the needs of leaders and employees. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers and employees on performance management, compensation, training, employee engagement and other matters as assigned. The HR Generalist will play a key role in the day-to-day of the Operation working closely with the leaders to foster a high performance culture and positive work environment.  

CORE JOB DUTIES 

• Assist the HRBP with fielding all HR related inquiries and requests from employees to ensure a timely response. 

• Monitor and ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state employment laws as well as company human resources policies and procedures 

• Assist in implementation and communication of HR policies and training initiatives 

• Act as a liaison between all HR functions (talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, etc.) 

• Verify and maintain employee information in all electronic systems to ensure accuracy  

• Assist in recruitment and onboarding process for new hires 

• Assist in facilitating the annual performance review process 

• Assist the benefits department in processing leave of absence requests 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business-related field preferred 

• 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources preferred 

• Understanding of HR policies and procedures  

• Knowledge of labor and employment laws 

• Experience with an HRIS system (Wurk experience is a plus)  

• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow through on assigned tasks 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills  

• Excellent written and verbal communication and team management skills
