PRN SCHOOL DIETITIAN - DC AREA

• We are hiring immediately for a PRN School Registered Dietitian.
• Location: DC and Surrounding MD and VA Area    Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: 3-4 Days/Events per Month. 5 Hours per Event
• Requirement: Must be a Registered Dietitian with CDR
  Pay: $50.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time School Dietitian to join our wellness team at CulinArt in the greater Washington, DC area. This dietitian will assist with nutrition and wellness events 3-4 times per month at 7 school accounts. 100% travel. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively present nutrition and sustainability education developed by CulinArt's Wellness Director, across a variety of platforms for health fairs, lunch & learns, program launches, client meetings and school wellness events. 
• Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of child and adult nutrition guidelines as outlined by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and the American Medical Association
• Learn and be able to speak on CulinArt's sustainability program and initiatives
• Assist in manager and team-member food allergy and nutrition training programs
• Maintain registered dietitian credentials and remain in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration by staying current with professional development portfolio CPEs. 

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
• Travel 100% in the Metro DC area and nearby MD and VA areas. 
• Culinary and/or foodservice experience preferred
• Experience in public speaking, preferably to all age groups
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
