Job Description
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Partner supports all human resources activities including but not limited to employee relations, workforce development, internships, non-exempt payroll, training, compensation, recruiting, and organizational development. Provides counsel, assistance and follow-up on Company policies, procedures and supports management to identify and resolve issues. Recommends and develops programs to meet employee needs and improve performance related activities as necessary.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and guidance to employees and managers on personnel/employment issues, compensation, Bosch policies, procedures and standards
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with organizational resources to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to local management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, productivity and retention).
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure activities, workforce and succession planning.
- Performs compensation studies to recommend contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual management coaching.
- Leads the Internship program for multiple locations from requisition through onboarding
- Facilitates and coordinates recruitment efforts (i.e. postings, coordinating interviews, etc.)
- Works in collaboration with hiring manager and external agencies to review application/resumes; interviews job applicants; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications
- Develop and maintain relationship with universities and other recruitment sources
- Administration of the SAP Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including but not limited to new hires, promotions, terminations, and other related actions. Includes payroll responsibilities related to non-exempt time administration
- Conducts new employee and intern orientation both in-person and virtually for multiple locations
- Explains benefits to employees and serves as a liaison between corporate benefits and local site
- Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on Company policies, procedures and documentation
- Manage Short Term Disability and FMLA, working with outsourced vendor
- Participate in the corporate wellness meetings and wellness events
- Participate in the local team focused on corporate, employee and community outreach activities
- Responsible for providing monthly vacation and OSHA reports and other reports as requested
- Assist in creating programs to recognize and reward employee performance and community involvement
- Travel Expectation: 10 -15% (domestic) with periodic travel between Londonderry, NH and Watertown, MA
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience with Generalist responsibilities
- 2+ years of employee relations experience
- 3+ years of MS Office Suite experience to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Teams
- 2+ years of HRIS system data entry and report writing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Studies or related area
- Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI (HRCI- PHR) credential or ability to obtain certification within two years of employment
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Generalist experience in a sales environment
