Overview of Role

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will report to our SVP of Accounting and Administration and you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations to drive business performance and enhance decision-making processes. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the financial planning and analysis function within the organization, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support our financial objectives. This role requires a strong background in FP&A, exceptional analytical aptitude, and experience working with Salesforce and FinancialForce.

Responsibilities

• Drive the financial planning and analysis function, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Build and enhance financial models, tools, and dashboards to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis and reporting processes.

• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance, operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial goals and strategies.

• Monitor and track financial performance against established targets, highlighting areas of concern or improvement opportunities and working collaboratively to implement corrective actions.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting financial planning and analysis, and proactively incorporate relevant insights into the organization's financial strategies and processes.

• Collaborate with the Resourcing team to leverage the Salesforce platform's capabilities, optimize data integration, and develop financial reports and analytics within Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) are preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an FP&A role, preferably within a professional services organization within the technology industry

• Strong analytical aptitude and demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Proficiency in using financial modeling techniques and tools to drive strategic decision-making.

• Solid understanding of financial statements, key performance metrics, and financial concepts.

• Experience working with Salesforce and FinancialForce, including the ability to create and maintain reports and dashboards.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach.
