Fisher College of Business is recruiting exceptional tenure track faculty for consideration as part of the Game Changer Scholar Initiative.  This initiative represents a strategic effort to identify, recruit and appoint exceptional individuals who will contribute to the academic and institutional growth of participating academic units.  

Applicants’ research focus can be from any aspect of business scholarship, but the research profile must fit within one of the five existing tenure initiating units: Accounting and Management Information Systems, Finance, Management and Human Resources, Marketing and Logistics, or Operations and Business Analytics.

Performance Objectives:

• Demonstrate outstanding achievement in research.
• Creating and delivering effective course materials. Creating an engaging classroom environment.
• Demonstrate commitment to student success.
• Collaboration with fellow instructors.
• Sustain a substantial record of impactful peer-reviewed publications in top-tier business journals.
• Effectiveness in service to the Department, the College and/or University, and to the greater academic and business community.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Required: Applicants must have an earned doctorate (Ph.D., D.B.A., or equivalent). Applicants must be accomplished academic scholars who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, research, and service to their field. Specifically, they must have evidence of publications in top-tier business journals as well as mentoring of Ph.D. students. Candidates must also hold the position as a tenured, full professor at a business school that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) or International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

Desired: Consideration will be given to candidates with advanced experience, measurable achievements, and depth of expertise required for Game Changer Scholar professors.

Additional Information:

The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications. Fisher will hire a maximum of one (1) Game Changer hire in a tenure-initiating unit, for a maximum of five (5) positions total.
