Beach Park Animal Clinic, located near Tampa’s lively downtown and just minutes from the Gulf beaches, is looking for a dedicated veterinarian to join our team. Our clinic is well-known for delivering high-quality, compassionate care and building long-term relationships with both pets and their people. Our team is supportive, skilled, and works together to provide a positive and collaborative work environment.

We’re proud to offer all-new diagnostic equipment—including dental machines, dental x-ray, and ultrasound—to support the highest standard of medical care. Even more exciting, we are scheduled to move into our brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital in the Fall of 2025, designed to further enhance the care we provide and the experience for our team and clients alike.

Qualifications 

• Experience as a veterinary technician (2+ years)

• Strong surgical and anesthesia monitoring skills.

• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. 

• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities 

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. 

• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. 

• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. 

• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment. 

• Schedule requirements Saturday as needed

Pay rate: $22 starting based on experience, CE allotment, Benefits
