Overview
Chicago Investment Banking Operation opportunity for Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. The Chicago Operations team is responsible for processing of all North & South American Futures exchanges as well as clearing trades for US domiciled clients on most major foreign exchanges. The position to be filled is for Clearing & Delivery Operations, which are responsible for Oversee US Futures Exchange option expiry and energy commodities delivery operations across Intercontinental Exchange Inc (ICE) Europe, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group, and EEX, ensuring accurate trade and position processing, timely end-of-day reporting, regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution.

What You’ll Do
Manage, review, and communicate all US Futures Exchange Option Expiry & Delivery processing requirements for energy products on ICE Europe, CME Group, and EEX, including deliveries background, in/out of the money positions, and Exercise/Assignment/Abandonment Notifications
Manage all End of Day processes between Deutsche Bank systems, third-party vendors, regulatory reporting agencies, and exchanges, including statement generation, open position reporting, and expiry & delivery notifications
Monitor all incoming Foreign Market trades for US domiciled clients to ensure accurate position reporting, following protocol for deliveries in US Markets
Research and resolve issues and inquiries regarding exchange or bank regulatory rules, requirements, and functionality, and liaise with clients, client service, trade support, trading desks, balancers, and outside firms to process top day trading and resolve outstanding issues impacting position reporting for LTD & FND
Work with Compliance on internal department audits and provide documentation for inquiries requested by Regulatory, Financial, or Exchange personnel
Review the Daily Checklist to ensure all daily tasks and requirements are completed within the designated timeline, and support ad hoc reports and requests as needed
Skills You’ll Need
Thorough knowledge of CME Group & ICE-, ICE Euro functional applications & systems; including regulations, clearing, expiration, & delivery reporting processes for Markets - Oil, Gas, Power, Emissions
Products - Listed options and futures on ICE, CME (NYMEX), EEX; familiarity with MGE, BM&F, EUREX, ME, & other foreign markets is a positive
Good working knowledge and experience with GMI / FIS and Clearvision, Delivery systems & applications
Expert MS Office Suite knowledge (Word, Excel, Access, Visio) and strong technological abilities with the capacity to quickly learn proprietary software
Ideal candidate should have Moderate of futures industry commodities delivery experience and detailed knowledge of Energy Delivery process

Strong verbal & written communication & management skills to update & review key operating documents
Should also be able to investigate process automation & improvements, while being able to document work-flows and procedural changes & amendments as necessary, both from exchange requirements or automation improvements
