We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with government agencies and exposure to international privacy regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and the ability to manage compliance programs effectively.
Applicants must be United States citizen to be able to administer the Azure GCC High tenant for CMMC Level 2.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
Essential Functions
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Woolpert, you will help lead, optimize, advance, and grow the IT Cybersecurity & Compliance Team by:
- Day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions
- Ensure compliance with US federal agency regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and other relevant standards, including CMMC Level 2 readiness and audits.
- Manage and oversee compliance with international privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.
- Review a variety of organizational AI solutions for security and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address cybersecurity and compliance issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
- Continue to operationalize the components of the Microsoft M365 E5 suite within Woolpert’s Enterprise tenant.
- Continue to secure the Woolpert’s CUI Enclave tenant (GCC High tenant) in support of CMMC Level 2.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
- Work as security lead on the Woolpert IT Acquisition team as Woolpert continues to grow worldwide.
- Secondary tasks may include involvement in the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the compliance activities.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes to ensure the organization’s cybersecurity posture remains robust.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT cybersecurity and compliance, preferably as a provider to a federal agency or similar environment.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or other relevant security accreditations.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Agency regulations and international privacy laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Experience with AI, cloud security and Federal/International compliance.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, PIM, and vulnerability management systems.
- Familiarity with Azure Commercial Cloud & Azure GCC High Cloud
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender & Sentinel
