Description

Join our practice in Albuquerque, NM, where CRNAs and MDs practice independently in a collaborative anesthesiology team. You’ll join a collegial team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists who prioritize interprofessional collaboration to ensure we provide our patients the best possible anesthetic care.

Anesthesiologists collaborate with independent CRNAs to facilitate patient care across twenty-two (22) rooms. Facilitators are the anesthesia point person during the day. They assist in running the board, patient preparation, PACU care, and help in high-acuity cases if needed. When the Anesthesiologist is not on call, they may perform their own cases if desired.

Call:
Average 5 weekday call shifts per month and one weekend.
Night calls are from home and are back-up only to the CRNAs on call. Weekends are 48-hour calls, with the Anesthesiologist overseeing four rooms during the day, each staffed by an independent CRNA. Weekend nights are back-up only, with Monday off.

Case Variety:
Perform your own cases out of residency in a robust, bread & butter private practice setting with a varity of higher end acuity cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, GI, OB, and Neurosurgery.
