As a Sr. Director, Global Accounts, you will be at the forefront of this mission, driving innovative and impactful strategies that align with this events-driven vision for the future. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORAt Opus, we place high importance on building strong client relations. The Sr. Director, Global Accounts is responsible to find opportunities within accounts that drive growth for both clients and revenue for the agency. The Sr. Director, Global Accounts will be passionate about strategy and creative, with expertise in the experiential marketing industry, full service complex events, and campaigns. responsible for managing multiple client engagements, serving as the primary client contact, providing strategic insight to help clients achieve their goals, manage all aspects of client programs and build relationships within the client’s organization.The Sr. Director, Global Accounts understands the client’s business needs and strategy and finds opportunities for Opus to meet those needs (sales). This individual will lead the relationship with our largest client accounts. define the scope of projects to meet client needs and ensure that Opus executes flawlessly for client projects. The Sr. Director, Global Accounts will develop positive, trusting, value-add relationships with clients, provides leadership necessary to increasingly align Opus offerings with client objectives, and own overall responsibility for account revenue targets and profitability goals.The Sr. Director, Global Accounts works closely with Account Management, Event and Program Management teams, and other service lines to facilitate contractual agreements.The Sr. Director, Global Accounts works within the Business Development team.YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent, 10-15+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong ability to manage and build relationships and trust with multiple stakeholders internal and external to the organization
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Experience with enterprise high tech clients (Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with budget management, financial tracking and contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of accounting, marketing and sales tactics/strategies
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships and creates client success by providing unique and effective solutions to our clients
  • Maintains leading-edge knowledge of clients’ culture, processes, structure, business, and industry to service them effectively and is responsible for the overall satisfaction and retention of client(s)
  • Shows value across all agency service lines and effectively communicates client needs to direct teams to successful delivery
  • Guides the development, writing, and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work, schedules and staffing plans
  • Drives and leads new business pitches and grows account portfolio via service line growth and new events
