Join us today and experience Life at Visa.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Senior iOS Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, maintenance, and support of mobile device software applications for customers across many technology platforms. This role would receive a moderate level of guidance and direction. </p><p>Essential Functions:  </p><ul><li><p>Complete tasks related to the complete software development life cycle including technical requirements, development, and testing </p></li><li><p>Focus on how own project will react against the actual production environment and less on “passing QA” </p></li><li><p>Codes, debugs, tests, deploys, supports and documents moderately complex application mobile device software </p></li><li><p>Acts as a liaison with developers, external, and/or internal, regarding moderately complex system and environmental requirements and problem resolution </p></li><li><p>Ensures secure coding, contingency, and deployment methodologies are in place upon moderately complex software implementation </p></li><li><p>Analyzes viable solutions using standard procedures for a range of straightforward problems  </p></li></ul><p>Additional Responsibilities: </p><ul><li><p>Troubleshooting technical issues that come up within the production environment </p></li><li><p>Working with internal teams to coordinate the releasing of code to production environment </p></li></ul><p>This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Basic Qualifications:</p><ul><li>2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>4+ years of related software development experience</li><li>Familiarity with iOS/Android native technologies</li><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.</li><li>Working in a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)</li><li>Whiteboarding skills</li><li>Moderately specialized, technical skills in applicable technologies such as Java and Objective-C programming languages.</li><li>Working knowledge with native iOS development using Swift and Objective C.</li><li>Strong independent development skills</li><li>Giving and seeking out feedback on designs</li><li>Participate in group design sessions</li><li>Ability to communicate with external partners during design/development/QA</li><li>Experience integrating 3rd party APIs</li><li>Experience with Objected Oriented design and implementation using both Objective-C &amp; Swift.</li><li>Experience with iOS SDK creation / management.</li><li>Experience with agile, test-driven development.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Visa is an EEO Employer.
