Duties: Responsible for supporting backend API development using MuleSoft; gather, analyze, design, develop, test and deploy large-scale applications; support API lifecycle management, and extend the concepts in the real world by solving use cases; migrate applications from Mule 3 to Mule 4; develop application work flows and conduct endpoint testing; debug and fix application errors that arise; communicate with the different teams to fix deployment issues; follow MuleSoft prescribed guidelines to develop reusable APIs; build and develop backend web services, including REST and SOAP; test API endpoints in Postman and interact with SOAP UI to extract the XML response payloads for SOAP web service calls; work as a product liaison between the internal and external clients by gathering requirements and writing functional specifications using Rational Products and Microsoft Office for custom developed software and custom frameworks that run on Salesforce-Mulesoft platform; deploy applications using SalesForce-Mulesoft platform; assist in competitive analysis of API platforms from multiple Software vendors; design Proof of Technology (POT) and Proof of concepts (POCs); perform software market research and gather customer needs as they relate to various software products from SalesForce-Mulesoft platform among other tools; implement the “API First Framework” and build industry assets for our “API Practice” using IBM API Connect and Salesforce-MuleSoft Anypoint platforms; and help establish framework, standards, best practices, designs, accelerator toolkit and methodology to build the APIs for Application Integration.
Location: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and various other undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
Salary: $95,000 per year.

Education: Masters – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or in related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
