About the role

Provides leadership for Quality, Safety and Risk Management Programs. Organizes, plans, develops and directs functions of quality, safety and risk management including development of performance standards, outcome measures and corrective action plans. Reports results to appropriate oversight committees and boards within Providence as well as Federal and State regulatory bodies. Ensures externally imposed regulatory or accreditation standards are met or exceeded. Reduces/eliminates risk exposure and liability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License or
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License or
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years Quality, safety and risk management experience
  • Experience in the use of clinical information to drive quality improvement through data analysis and informatics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 5 years Relevant healthcare experience including 2 years in community-based care
  • 1 year Infection Control activities (identification, surveillance, investigation, and prevention) experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
