Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated business product analysts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in annuity business processes with experience supporting New Business and/or Policy Administration solution delivery. As an Business Product Analyst, you will be responsible for representing the business needs when designing the new Annuity platform.  Responsible for managing and supporting business objectives and technology solution alignment and requirements to achieve expect business benefits.  This role will work closely with the business and technology associates and leader to support solution delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides business process expertise directly or by leveraging SMEs; Conducts current state and future state process analysis
  • Analyzes user needs, defines and documents business requirements, validates assumptions, evaluates solution options, partners with User Experience to create prototypes, leads proof of concepts, recommends appropriate solutions to the program team
  • Help to define business benefits and support program OKRs
  • Ensures proposed solutions align with all impacted business areas
  • Works with Product Owner, Agile Leads, and Requirements Leads to document and deliver requirements to agile team
  • Support assessing organizational impact for organizational change management planning. Coordinates communication and training to ensuring business readiness plans are in place.
  • Collaborates with Product Owner & Value Stream leaders on prioritization and evaluating MVP requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Assists with defect analysis, research and resolution

 

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Annuity functional areas from New Business to Post Issue covering the entire lifecycle of a policy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven expertise in communication and expectation management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Experience supporting a large scale technology delivery program
  • Deep understanding of the Annuity New Business operations & processes
  • Ability to understand and design logic flows (e.g. flowcharts in VISIO, etc.)
  • Experience driving business process optimization and adoption

Location: Columbus Hybrid (3 days in office)
