Job Description
As a Manager, Software Engineer - AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), you will be responsible for managing a dynamic team of developers, ensuring successful delivery of the product features, conversion of the requirements into technical designs which includes enterprise-level architecture and implementing strategies for developing and using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.

- Lead and manage product development activities building websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle for product implementation.
- Work with product management, design, support and other dev teams to create high-quality solutions.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team within an Agile/Scrum environment and ensure team operates on Trust, Healthy environment, Owns deliverables and Results.
- Help solving difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems.
- Contribute and participate in reviews for architecture, design and code.
- Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.
- Identify and develop processes to enable business stakeholders to take advantage of the Marketing Technology stack.
- Ensure standards are followed to deliver quality code and solutions with automation at the heart of any new design.
- Create UX experience for Web Production to update business critical content to ServiceNow.com
- Facilitate and participate in project planning sessions to analyze development requirements.
- Forecast and report on performance and identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- Minimum of 10 years software development experience and advanced coding skills with high-quality results utilizing one or more of the following Java, JavaScript, RESTful API, HTML, XML, CSS.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience building and managing development teams delivering high quality enterprise ready software within a global setup.
- 2+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM 6.5 and later required. Design, develop and support AEM components, integrations, and applications.
- A hands-on engineer who has organically evolved/grown to a management role.
- Experience providing direction, delegate assignments, and support to accomplish tasks with their team.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Cloud Application Development Platforms.
- Experience working with geographically separate project teams.
- The ability to guide a team independently with minimal oversight while delivering outstanding results.
- Proven ability to hire top talent and build out winning team.
