We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Program Manager to partner directly with the Head of Enterprise Data, and the leadership team. This role is pivotal in translating strategy into execution—leading high-impact, multi-region programs, accelerating decision-making, and ensuring our most critical data initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and business, driving a high-performance rhythm across the organization. This role requires executive presence, operational rigor, and a passion for enabling data-driven transformation with AI priority. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Enterprise Data Leadership: shape agendas, frame decisions, and represent the office in senior forums.
- Lead delivery of complex, high-visibility programs across geographies—ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and value realization.
- Establish and manage operating cadences (e.g., business reviews, portfolio updates, staff meetings); define reporting rhythms and troubleshoot delivery risks.
- Coordinate Product ↔ Engineering handoffs: clarify requirements, de-risk implementation, and accelerate time-to-value.
- Build and maintain integrated program artifacts: intake, plans, estimates, specifications, flowcharts, RAID logs, decision records.
- Own program financials: budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and transparency.
- Craft executive-ready narratives and dashboards to inform decisions and align stakeholders.
- Mentor junior PMs; foster a culture of collaboration, learning agility, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in program/portfolio management within data, analytics, or technology environments, delivering global, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Agile/Scaled Agile (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master)
- Change Management (e.g., Prosci)
Skills & Competencies
- Program/Project Management: Integrated planning, dependency & risk management, benefits realization, RCA, escalation management.
- Financial Acumen: Budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variance analysis.
- Data/Analytics Domain: Familiarity with data governance, privacy, data quality, analytics value delivery, BI storytelling.
- Tools: Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Power BI and ThoughtSpot for dashboards.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Executive storytelling, negotiation, conflict resolution, influence in matrixed environments.
- Cross-Org Capabilities: Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, customer centricity.
Impact & Scope
- Influences large functions and leads cross-division programs that materially advance HP’s enterprise data strategy and capabilities.
- Solves complex problems within established guardrails, exercising independent judgment under ambiguity.
Position Benefits:
The base pay range for this role is $115,850 to $178,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
