About the Role
Caribou is looking for a People & Culture Generalist to work jointly with our Recruiting, People Business Partner, and Benefits specialists to support compliance, programs, projects and processes that enable people and business objectives.
In this role, you will…
- Provide support to employees on HR related topics; address employee questions and resolve issues related to people processes and policies
- Support the coordination of talent acquisition and recruitment processes through scheduling and employee onboarding
- Program manage organizational learning and development initiatives
- Support performance enablement practices through the compilation of performance data and program management of performance reviews
- Maintain data and documentation of People operations activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations and ensure accuracy of employee data in an HRIS
- Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain usage and maximize functionality of HRIS
This role can be based out of Caribou offices in Washington, DC and Denver, CO. Alternatively, this role may work remotely from a state where Caribou operates.
About You
You have…
- 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, Learning & Development or a related field
- General understanding of best practices across talent acquisition, learning and development, onboarding, total rewards, and people business partnership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and ability to learn new technical systems
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
