So, what will you be doing as a Quality Data Technician?
• Participating in developing manufacturing’s input to the Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Manages an attainable master production schedule. Monitors the consistency of the production plan, executes policies for time fences, safety stocks, subcontracting, and lot sizing by utilizing ORS and Inventory Management tools implemented by LBSO.
• Planning and coordinating sample production.
• Works closely with Product Development group to satisfy new product development.
• Must strive for continuous cost reductions in all areas of responsibility.
• Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts on material and capacity availability and order promising integrity.
• Works closely with sales and marketing (Demand Manager) to satisfy customer demand.
Sales and Operational Planning (SOP)
• Participates in S&OP process.
• Involved in production budgets by department for branch.
Production Scheduling
• Generates weekly production schedules for designated department.
• Coordinates changes of machinery or product line, which affects weekly production schedule and coordinates with Material Manager for raw material requirement changes.
• Coordinates sample product production
• Maintains item-planning data.
• Tracks performance to schedule and schedule stability.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
• Intimate knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
• Product familiarity, including the productstructures.
• Good understanding of MRP logic.
• Good computer skills and the ability to work with numbers.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to exemplify a cooperative attitude necessary to work with all department and management teams.
