We are seeking a Senior Director, Platform Engineering who will drive our connectivity technical evolution across all our pillars including engineering, security and automation.
General Responsibilities
Formulate downstream strategy for what we need to do to evolve our infrastructure based on our key business needs, automated deployments, automated controls, controls simplification and technical layering simplification
Develop roadmap along-side peer groups
Advise on changes to vendor roadmaps and COF’s choices of vendor software, hardware, etc
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 9 years of platform engineering experience
At least 7 years of experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS)
At least 7 years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of technical project management, software engineering or process management experience
5+ years of experience with enterprise SaaS applications, OS Platforms, Web or Mobile applications and custom built Enterprise solutions.
5+ years of experience with at least one of the following: Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, DevOps
3+ years of experience with G Suite of products or Google Workspace
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $240,300 - $274,300 for Sr. Director, Platform Engineering
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
