JOB TITLE:  Adjunct Instructor (Dentist) for Dental Assistant Technology  REPORTS TO: Dental Assistant Technology Program Chair 

DEPARTMENT: Dental Assisting Technology

VICE PRESIDENT: Vice President of Instruction, Academic, Transfer, and Health Sciences 

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

 

Requirements for Dentist as an Adjunct Dental Assisting Instructor: 

• Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry/Doctor of Dental Medicine 

• Current licensure as a dentist in Mississippi  

• Minimum two years of current experience in the practice of general dentistry 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
