If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you. Open up opportunities with HPE.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p>   </p><p>We are looking for Contra Revenue Senior Financial Analyst/Team Lead to join our team!</p><p></p><p><b>How you’ll make your mark:</b></p><ul><li><p>Controlling of right level of booked positions and performing corrections through JV re-class bookings, as well as requesting corrections from other parties based on own analysis and customer requests.</p></li><li><p>Preparation of financial forecast/flash/ budget and exit estimations (FDE) on monthly, quarterly or yearly basis and sharing this information with business finance in the agreed way &amp; time.</p></li><li><p>Monthly reporting of accrual levels and quarterly reporting &amp; analysis for Balance Sheet Review Purposes for one of the EMEA Geography.</p></li><li><p>Ad-hoc analysis regarding contra revenue – on sales finance or management requests.</p></li><li><p>Data analysis in the area of partners payments – payments ageing, trend analysis. Delivering analysis to the customers in the agreed form and timing.</p></li><li><p>Validation of Partners (Distributors and Resellers) Channel Compensation Bonuses.</p></li><li><p>Monitoring and maintaining all contra balance sheet accounts.</p></li><li><p>Maintains all contra balance sheet accounts by preparing and/or reviewing reconciliations and analytical reviews, performing account analysis and accounting entries.</p></li><li><p>Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance.</p></li><li><p>Participation and cooperation with internal and external audits.</p></li><li><p>Identification and implementation of standardization and optimization projects related to booking, reserve calculation, control and reporting for contra revenue.</p></li><li><p>Leading internal team projects; active engagement in Sales Finance and Wroclaw CoE initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Leading internal trainings from own area of expertise, coaching for less experienced team members.</p></li><li><p>Back up for other team member in the specific situations, considering own knowledge and skills.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper process documentation and record retention.</p></li><li><p>Participate in other projects and fulfil duties assigned by management.</p></li><li><p>Potential to learn and increase SQL knowledge within database used.</p></li><li><p>Supporting other team members.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About you:</b></p><ul><li><p>Ensure that tasks are completed properly within specified deadlines and quality parameters.</p></li><li><p>Deliver constant high quality performance, focusing on details and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Escalate observed irregularities to direct superiors.</p></li><li><p>Spread out and promote company’s corporate culture and positive image of HPE outside the company.</p></li><li><p>Build good relationship with customer and team members.</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong and relevant communication standards.</p></li><li><p>Support other team members and functional groups.</p></li><li><p>Comply with company’s ethical standards (Standards of Business Conduct, HPE Way, HPE Values and others) while executing daily functions.</p></li><li><p>6+  years of experience in Finance/ Accounting/ Controlling.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience in month end closing processes.</p></li><li><p>Fluent knowledge of SAP, MS Office (especially Excel).</p></li><li><p>Positive attitude in the area of corporate communication, customer oriented attitude.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a multicultural environment</p></li><li><p>Ability to work as a team <span>member/independently.</span></p></li><li><p>Supporting approach to other team members.</p></li><li><p>Leading process improvements projects.</p></li><li><p>Independency, accuracy, keen on learning.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage time and prioritizing.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a changing environment.</p></li><li><p>Any experience in SQL, Power BI or VBA will be an asset.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Additional Skills:</b></p>Accountability, Accountability, Active Learning (Inactive), Active Listeni
