This position is located in Holland, MI. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in-office and two days optional to work from home.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000 - $225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Position Summary:
The Director Mobile Robots Development – North America (NA) is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and management of the Mobile Automation business. This position will be responsible for the virtual P&L, best practices, support, and business growth associated with our Mobile Automation solutions in partnership with our regional Sales and Engineering leadership. This position will support all KION Group Operating Units (OUs) and Brands in the Americas region, including but not limited to KION NA, Linde, STILL, and Dematic. The position will provide leadership for our go-to-market strategy, regional and market input for the product roadmap, strategic positioning of key opportunities, and collaboration with other Mobile Automation regions (APAC, EMEA, ANZA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage high-performance MA teams consisting of Mechatronics, Software Development, Safety, and Project Management within our CTO Organization
- Develop and manage the overall Mobile Automation technical strategies and related cadence and processes
- Develop and manage projects within the NA and Global platform
- Support the Global Product Management function within Mobile Robots, including roadmap development for customer needs, internal needs, and market needs in NA
- Work with the executive team to identify and develop strategic alliances and acquisition targets that enhance our overall customer solutions
- Represent the company at customer, partner, and industry events
- Consistently coach and develop Mobile Robots Engineering

- Adoption of our Mobile Automation solutions across North America
- Virtual P&L for Mobile Automation North America
- Realization of mobile robots for North America
- Common platform development and performance improvement
Direction of Others:
- This position manages various professionals assigned to different Operating Units of KION Group and is responsible for all managerial aspects of direct reports.
Education:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering is required
