Principal Associate, Brand Web Strategy
The Capital One Brand team is seeking an experienced Web Operations & Site Strategist to lead and support our software line of business. Capital One has taken a bold journey to build a technology company while operating in a complex, highly regulated business. Through this journey, we've developed a suite of internal solutions uniquely designed to meet the challenges of a digital-first, cloud-first business at scale, and are exploring making them available to others through a new line of business, Capital One Software (COS).
We’re looking for an accomplished website marketing strategist who will work with multiple teams to develop and implement grounded plans to evolve, manage and optimize the Capital One Software website.
The person in this role will set the strategy and lead website management operations that drives the channel goals and elevates the Capital One Software brand.
What you’ll do:
Strategy
Develop overarching website strategy for Capital One Software website working with stakeholders across Brand & COS team
Create and execute intent-specific website strategies to support campaigns, events and other business needs as part of the marketing channel mix (e.g. new landing pages, updates to existing pages & structure, etc.)
Manage a wide range of stakeholders and work diligently to gather website intent/needs, understand their priorities and develop the roadmap, including the development of new experiences and experimentation to optimize the experience for prospects and customers
Lead strategic decision-making process to guide prioritization of development and design resources that support site development, site maintenance and hygiene processes
Operations
Manage day-to-day operations within the site including publishing new content, updating existing content, ensuring there’s proper tagging & analytics setup, etc.
Own intent & create briefs for site creative needs in support of campaigns & events
Lead site governance planning including regular reviews & audits with stakeholders
Implement SEO recommendations such as on-page optimizations, content updates, etc.
Analytics
Facilitate learning through qualitative and quantitative research including UX analysis, competitor/peer review and A/B component testing to continually improve the site experience
Review site tagging and own tagging process for campaign needs
Report out channel KPIs to leadership and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in a digital marketing role
At least 1 year of experience in a website management role
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in Tech, SaaS or B2B marketing
At least 5 years of experience in a strategic Website Manager or Product Manager role within the SaaS space
At least 3 years of experience working within a large company
Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience in agile processes, cross-functional and matrixed teams
Experience with Enterprise-level CMS & site UX principles
Analytics driven with strong experience in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Experience with running site A/B testing efforts via tools such as Adobe Target, Optimiz
