Description
The Debug Project (https://debug.com/) is looking to expand our mosquito production capabilities. To drive this initiative, Debug is looking to hire a Technical Site Lead for our new site opening later this year.
As a Technical Site Lead, you will be part of an energetic team working to reduce the impact of mosquito-borne diseases. Being responsible for the facilities and maintaining quality systems for all processes and products, you will be central to the sustainment, production, and maintenance of Debug technology across multiple global release programs; ensuring effective, efficient, and consistent quality products on site. The Technical Site Lead is responsible for maintaining the large-scale automated mass rearing facility in Miami, and all the custom industrial automation equipment that will be operating inside the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose and resolve technical problems related to equipment and facility.
- Develop, implement, supervise and lead all maintenance processes, operations and procedures on Debug equipment and facility.
- Identify and implement areas of improvements to facilities, processes, tools, and automation equipment on an ongoing basis.
- Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- 5 years experience in relevant industry specific knowledge and skills, or equivalent degree.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained and experience in general machine assembly, maintenance, and understanding of common hand tools.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams identify and solve tech problems.
- Experience managing facilities and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Good understanding of the technicalities of industrial automation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of facilities including, but not limited to plumbing, waste management systems, and CDA.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating understanding and alignment.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,000 - $168,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
