Purpose of Role

The Sr. Manager, FP&A – Corporate Services & Balance Sheet is a key strategic partner within Under Armour’s global finance organization.  This role leads financial planning and analysis for Corporate Services functions and the enterprise-wide balance sheet, driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and strategic insights.   This role partners closely with Controllership, Treasury, and Corporate Services business units to ensure accurate reporting, support internal controls, and deliver actionable analysis that informs decision-making across the organization. 

Your Impact

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Corporate Services departments and the company-wide balance sheet
  • Partner with Accounting and Treasury teams to support monthly close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and trend analysis
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive financial and operational performance
  • Oversee governance of capital expenditures and asset utilization, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Analyze financial variances and trends to identify risks and opportunities, providing clear, actionable recommendations for cost optimization
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
  • Facilitate monthly business reviews and respond to ad hoc analysis requests with speed and accuracy
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Corporate Services leaders, translating financial data into meaningful business insights
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results across supported functions
  • Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of two direct reports, serving as a player-coach who provides direction, mentorship, and inspiration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with a strong focus on supporting corporate services functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Office of the CFO) or consolidated balance sheet analytics
  • Deep expertise in core FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI development
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement, including system integration and process automation
  • Experience partnering with HR and analytics teams is a strong plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills required
  • Experience with financial and business systems such as:
    • Power BI / Tableau (or similar visualization tools)
    • SAP (or comparable ERP systems)
    • Ariba (or similar procurement/spend management platforms)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while effectively leading a team

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
  • Work Schedule: x4 days in office, Monday through Thursday
