Geisinger Primary Care South Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Family Medicine, for an outpatient only Primary Care opportunity in Wilkes Barre, PA.

Job Duties:

Geisinger Primary Care South Wilkes-Barre is the home of the Kistler Family Medicine Residency program, a three-year dedicated family medicine residency clinic.  ​

In addition to treating all patient ages, the physician will have an opportunity to work with onsite medical students and precept residents.

At the clinic, you will experience:

• Outpatient only clinic schedule – variable work week
• Physician panel sharing model
• Nurse call center to assist with on-call workload
• Nurse coordinators support high needs patients
• Centralized prescription refill team
• Interdisciplinary team and quick access to specialty services
• Epic EMR – universal throughout Geisinger
• Ambient dictation

• Compensation – competitive salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience
• Up to $250k recruitment incentives
• Residency/Fellowship stipend – up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation
• Geography Stipend – up to 20k at specific clinics
• Continuing medical education – 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
• Fully paid relocation
• 401k – Geisinger annually contributes over $15k
