The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Sr. Consultant, Network Management to our Group Product Solutions team supporting the dental network.
Background Details
As a Sr. Consultant, Network Management on the Group Product Solutions Team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the dental network including oversight and management of network partnerships, leadership and technical support related to network activities and regulatory compliance. You will provide subject matter expertise to senior management to contribute to network strategy and drive the implementation of business plans for the growth and management of current & future network structures. You will have ownership over network analytics, performing complex network analysis and provide recommendations to management and other stakeholders for your assigned area.
What you'll be doing
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
- Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit.
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
- Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability.
- Leads and directs activities related to the development, maintenance, and servicing of Group Protection's dental network, including building and maintaining relationships with internal business areas as well as external partners, and data transfer enhancements.
- Performs complex analyses to synthesize network key performance measures to assess overall performance of the PPO network; prepares and presents recommendations to different levels of management and other stakeholders, including product and pricing.
- Supports finance with PPO fee budget development and pricing with network change as it relates to discount, penetration, and cost trend assumptions.
- Monitors competitive network landscape and anticipates future trends and challenges; provides subject matter expertise to management to contribute to development of network strategies to position Lincoln as a top dental network in the industry.
- Ensures effective regulatory compliance & internal controls; Collaborates with internal compliance teams to ensure networks meet state requirements, handle compliance objections, negotiate delegated regulatory requirements with leased network partners.
- Participates in Lincoln’s Quality Management Program which establishes standards, assesses performance, and continually improves quality of service provided to covered PPO members.
- Develops effective network sales and marketing approaches and delivers to sales and field teams to provide guidance on how to best present network to drive profitable growth of dental product, claims repricing analyses and RFP responses.
- Collaborates with marketing partners to develop effective informational and marketing materials that support growth of the network.
What we’re looking for
Must-Haves
- 4 Year/bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 5 – 7+ Years experience in network management within the group insurance industry (Required)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
