About the Role - In this role as Production Supervisor (Sensor Assembly Facility) within Digital Services, the candidate will oversee the day-to-day assembly of electronic components, electromechanical products and computer systems and, manage production and deliveries to target. We track progress, create alignment, and encourage engagement around measurable goals such as – revenue targets, realized contribution ratio, risk mitigation, variation orders, DIFOT, operational safety etc. You get the opportunity to work with our global pool of resources assigned to projects and embrace a culturally diverse atmosphere.

Your responsibilities

  • Reporting & Communication: Provide concise and timely work progress reports to relevant leaders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the production process.
  • Scheduling & Supervision: Efficiently create daily work schedules, assign tasks, and supervise a team of technicians to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance & Monitoring: Monitor work processes to uphold quality standards, product specifications, and production targets, proactively addressing any deviations or issues that may arise.
  • Problem Solving & Support: Resolve production challenges and address worker inquiries regarding processes, methods, or equipment, fostering a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Training: Ensure strict compliance with training plans, assembly procedures, and industry regulations, supporting the development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
  • On-Time, On Cost, and On Quality Performance: Focus on achieving manufacturing operations that are consistently on time, on cost, and on quality, aligning production activities with customer expectations and organizational goals. Implement strategies to optimize scheduling, cost control measures, and quality assurance practices to ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to product specifications, thereby enhancing overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Skills Development: Foster competencies and growth within the team by providing coaching, training, and opportunities for skill enhancement, nurturing a culture of professional development.
  • Quality Control & Process Improvement: Oversee functional testing to maintain quality assurance and adherence to QA/QC protocols, contributing to the refinement of processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lean Principles Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of lean principles throughout the assembly/manufacturing floor, driving efficiency and minimizing operational inefficiencies.
  • Technical Support & Collaboration: Provide technical support to both internal and external engineering stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Inventory Management & Procurement: Maintain visibility on inventory levels and initiate procurement as needed to ensure uninterrupted production, optimizing inventory management practices to minimize waste and costs.
  • Safety Promotion: Promote a culture of personal and team safety by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular training sessions, and fostering a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation.
  • Facilities Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance and facilities teams to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, addressing any maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties such as organizing employee meetings, managing timekeeping and attendance records, conducting performance appraisals, and overseeing disciplinary actions, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently through both oral and written channels, facilitating collaboration and alignment across teams and departments.
