Qualifications: A valid Educational Technician I and current CHRC authorization through State of Maine Department of Education.

Description: MSAD #11 is seeking an education technician I who is committed to supporting our youngest learners throughout their school day. Candidates should demonstrate positive communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and the ability to build supportive relationships with students, staff, and related professionals.

This role provides support across a variety of settings, including the general education pre- kindergarten classroom, recess, small-group instruction, and other school or community- based environments where students may need assistance. Experience working with young students with diverse learning profiles and supporting students in classroom and small-group settings is preferred. Essential qualities include a student-centered approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to support student success.

Educational Technician Pay Scale (2026-2027)

Placement on the scale is dependent upon experience.
