About our team

 

Meet the Quality Assurance team for Savings Distribution Technology. Our role is to ensure that our digital solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in automating and optimizing our testing processes, with the opportunity to also contribute to manual testing efforts.

 

What you'll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Drive test automation efforts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products
• Take an independent approach to ongoing project tasks, ensuring thorough testing coverage
• Support and drive QA activities across the delivery team
• Communicate effectively with team members to drive automation
• Contribute to manual testing efforts as needed
• Prepare test documentation using test management tools and in accordance with Nordea’s Test Strategy guidelines
• Contribute to manual testing efforts as needed
• Future-Proofing with AI & Copilot

We’re actively exploring how AI-powered testing tools and Copilot-style assistants can accelerate our QA workflows—reducing manual effort, improving coverage, and enabling smarter decision-making. You’ll have the opportunity to work with emerging technologies and help shape how we integrate AI into our quality assurance strategy.

Your experience and background

• Have 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Utilize programming tools such as Java and JavaScript
• Worked with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress and Playwright
• Conduct manual testing as necessary to supplement automated testing efforts
• Have good communication skills to drive automation focus also among other team members
• Possess relevant Master’s degree
• Are fluent in written and spoken English
