Business Operations & Strategy Associate

Company BackgroundThe Luxor team has built a range of solutions for Bitcoin mining and compute power, including a globally distributed mining pool, firmware, an ASIC brokerage desk and RFQ platform, a wide variety of blockchain software, as well as Hashrate derivatives markets and tools. Our product suite is growing rapidly and as such we are looking to expand our business operations and strategy team.This role will report to our Business Operations Manager. This is a remote role. The candidate must be based in the Americas time zone.

Requirements

• Background in finance, data analytics, operations, or related experience
• Strong financial modeling experience
• Experience with business strategy, go-to-market plans, growth marketing, paid media and related fields
• Strong knowledge with Google Analytics, CRMs, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and heatmapping
• Working knowledge of SQL (bonus for programming experience, Python preferred)
• Familiarity with key commercial terms of legal contracts
• Strong level of resourcefulness and self-starter mentality
• Strong interest in Bitcoin Mining industry

Responsibilities:

• You will wear many hats in this role, driving impact across the company
• KPI tracking / analysis using our internal databases and external data sources to drive insights for business, marketing and fundraising strategy
• Market research, business plans and intricate financial modeling to support evaluation of new business lines and transaction opportunities
• Enhancing efficiency of existing business lines through process changes and/or automation
• Managing Luxor’s fleet of self-mining ASICs
• Supporting our hashrate derivatives business in onboardings, applications, legal and regulatory work
• Maintaining internal contract templates, terms of service, and working on other legal documents
• Implementing policies and procedures for Luxor’s SOC 2 compliance, InfoSec, and AML/KYB requirements
