Broadridge is hiring. Our team is seeking an experienced Java Developer who is passionate about the craft and art of developing mission-critical software. Main responsibility of this role will be to write clean code, data design, testing, technical design and troubleshooting. This is a contract role to work remotely. Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions.
• Provides application software development services typically in a defined project.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.
• Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
• Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
• May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
• Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
• Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
• Solves a range of straightforward problems
• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Qualifications:

• 8+ years’ experience in Core Java Technologies
• 5+ year’s in Spring and Hibernate
• 5+ years of Microservices
• Working experience on Integration platforms
• 5+ year’s on Messaging technologies like Kafka, IBM MQ, Active MQ etc
• 7+ years experience in Cloud/AWS  technologies. [ECS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, SQS]
• Good Analytical and Debugging skills.
