The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Learning Program Development Specialist to join our Learning & Development; Production System Training (PST) Functional Development organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs focused on mechanical processes.

This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical processes and procedures, manufacturing processes, strong project management skills, and the ability to design and develop effective training programs. This role can be located in Berkeley, MO, Auburn, WA, North Charleston, SC, Everett, WA, Mesa, AZ, Renton, WA, Ridley Park, PA, San Antonio, TX or Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic learning programs in the mechanical manufacturing domain, aligned to the appropriate processes, procedures, and organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning objectives
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, production operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of the learning program with other organizational initiatives
  • Be cognizant of budget, including vendor selection, to optimize resources and achieve cost-efficiency
  • Ensures Boeing learning content is aligned to the needs of the business and is compliant (FAA, OSHA, DOD, etc.)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical and aerospace engineering
  • Travel to other Boeing locations to support local training

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with mechanical manufacturing processes and documentation
  • Experience managing projects, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience communicating and presenting, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to various audiences
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with the identification and implementation of process improvements to learning enhance related solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of learning management system course and curricula architecture, curricula management, curation, and course maintenance
  • Proven experience in designing and developing training programs in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on seal domain
  • Project and/or Program leadership experience
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia tools
  • Experience creating and delivering Stakeholder and Executive briefings
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Quality Management System and Material Review process
